“The Demise of Mary Todd Lincoln” at Dominican University

The CACG will be attending a public talk on the Mary Todd Lincoln portrait forgery, held on November 4th at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. You can open the link for the invitation, driving directions and information on dinner plans (hint: it will involve an Indian buffet).

 
Note: the venue has changed since the original announcement of this event, so please note that the event is to be held in the Martin Recital Hall in the Performing Arts Center.

The Demise of Mary Lincoln

Dominican University is also accessible by public transit. Take the Green Line towards Harlem, and get off at Harlem and Lake. The University is about a mile north of the station, so you can walk from there or get the 90 bus.

Martinis & Manicures

This isn’t official CACG business, but the Chicago chapter of the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network will be having an informal get-together tomorrow, August 2nd, at the Beauty Bar in Chicago (1444 W Chicago Ave, near the Chicago Blue Line stop) at 6 p.m..
